Consider your vehicle requirements before contacting for a quote, the smallest and cheapest vehicle may not suit your needs, e.g., if you are travelling with passengers and luggage. Comfort and safety is key.
When calling for quotes keep your rentals in periods of 24 hours (our rental days). This means you will get the most out of your rental and it will keep costs down.
Bring the correct ID. We will need your driver’s licence (card part), two additional forms of I.D. (utility bill, bank statement, passport). We will also need your NI number or the DVLA check code (call for more details if you are unsure).
Check you know what to do in the event of a breakdown or accident. We will give you all telephone numbers needed but if you are unsure, please ask.
Check the vehicle thoroughly for any damage before leaving! We will check round the vehicle with you and mark any damage down on our paperwork.
Ensure you know the type of fuel and where the fuel cap is (all vehicles are different). Mark down how much fuel the vehicle has in upon collection and make sure you return the vehicle with the same amount.
Check you know how to operate the vehicle safely and correctly. And make sure you set up the sat nav/radio before driving! We are more than happy to help.
Be careful of curbs when parking your rental vehicle, scuffed alloys are the most common piece of damage we find.
Before returning the vehicle check you have not left any personal belongings. Do not forget to check the boot! The most common lost articles include mobile phones, sunglasses and umbrellas.
