Yes. You can have as many additional drivers as you require. All drivers are required to produce the relevant documents, and there is a small additional charge for the increased administration.
Please bring with you: Your full drivers licence (card part), additional driver permits and 2 other forms of ID e.g. your current passport or a utility bill that shows your name and address. We also need your National Insurance number, or a check code from the DVLA website, which enables us to look up the drivers details. If you are unsure of this please contact us. If more than one person is hiring the vehicle, please ensure that all drivers produce their driving licence and additional ID.
Yes. You are welcome to take your hire vehicle abroad. You will need a green card and supplementary breakdown cover, which we can arrange for you at a modest additional fee. Please advise us upon booking if you are travelling abroad.
Yes. Here at Motorent, we see it as our job to be as flexible as possible. If you want to extend your booking for any reason whatsoever, please simply call the office on 02392 002002.
All of our vehicles are of course fully, regularly and professionally serviced and maintained, but in the unlikely event that you do breakdown, rest assured that we have AA cover, both Roadside Recovery and Home Start. In the first instance, please call the office.
As a general rule up to 6 points within the past 3 years can be accepted for offences such as speeding, parking or construction and use. If you have endorsements for driving while under the influence of drink or drugs, driving with no insurance or have been banned from driving in the last 10 years it is recommended that you contact us.
